Shri S. Premnath born to Shrimathi Shanthi and Shri Sivaperumal was a student in
Kalakshetra College of Fine Arts, Adyar, Chennai. He is currently persuing his
Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts in Kalaikaviri College of Fine Arts in Tiruchy.
His passion for Fine Arts led him to start his own institution on the 6th of
July 1997 in Chennai in name of “RUKMINIDEVI NATYAKSHETRA FOUNDATION - SCHOOL OF
FINE ARTS”. Today this Institution has grown to teach 150 students in various
disciplines of Fine Arts.
This humble Institution being a unit of SANTHIAMMAL EDUCATION & CHARITABLE TRUST
has eminent personalities on its Management and Advisory Board. The Institution
offers Certificate and Foundation courses in Bharatanatyam, Vocal, Violin,
Painting etc. in upcoming areas like Mogappair, Ambattur and Nolambur in
Chennai.
The mantra of this great teacher, Shri S. Premnath is Discipline. Equal
importance is given for overall development of the students in conduct and
character in areas like leadership,
punctuality, spirituality,
respect for elders, dressing
sense etc. His students learn the basics of all the above to become
future leaders and good citizen.
Shri S. Premnath leads by example during his classes and also in stage
performances as he involves in every aspect of the programmes by personally
overseeing and performing on the stage. His aim is to create awareness in the
student community the ancient culture and the divine arts. His students are now
in various parts of Tamilnadu & India teaching and excelling in this art.
Shri. S. Premnath aims in extending this cultural service from being a school
into a full fledged college in years to come to make the community get all the
benefits of our ancient culture.
