Shri S. Premnath born to Shrimathi Shanthi and Shri Sivaperumal was a student in
Kalakshetra College of Fine Arts, Adyar, Chennai. He is currently pursuing his
Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts at Kalaikaviri College of Fine Arts in Tiruchy.
His passion for Fine Arts led him to start his own institution in Chennai in the name “RUKMINIDEVI NATYAKSHETRA FOUNDATION - SCHOOL OF
FINE ARTS” on 6th of July 1997. Today,the Institution has grown up to teach 150 students in various disciplines of Fine Arts.
This humble Institution being a unit of SANTHIAMMAL EDUCATION & CHARITABLE TRUST
has eminent personalities in it's Management and Advisory Board. The Institution
offers Certificate and Foundation courses in Bharathanatyam, Vocal, Violin,
Painting etc. in upcoming areas like Mogappair, Ambattur and Nolambur in
Chennai.
The mantra of the institution is Discipline. The institution is very keen on bringing up a cultured citizen with virtues from a growing child.More than knowledge, the institution endeavours wisdom from each and every individual.In this regard,Shri S.Premnath strongly beleives that such wisdom can be brought out of infants and noble youths by nurturing Fine Arts to them and so the institution.
He leads by example during his classes and also in stage
performances as he involves in every aspect of the programmes by personally
overseeing and performing on the stage.He aims in extending this cultural service from being a school into a full fledged college in years to come to make the student community get all the benefits of our ancient culture.
