Rukminidevi Natyakshetra Foundation was started in the year 1997, July6th in North Chennai to spread and promote our culture and tradition through arts and take it to the next generation.An act of performance happened in the vicinity of such a goal recently on October 15th, 2011, Saturday. It was the final year bharathanatyam students' 'Paper Presentation' in-front of renowned artists from Kalakshetra who were the chief guest and judge of the presentation Mrs.N.S.Jayalakshmi(a retired professor of Kalakshetra).

        It was a dance treat for the viewers and a remarkable event for the students who were at the verge of their seven years' hardwork of preparation and ofcourse it was a delighting moment for the choriographer as well as the founder of the institution, Mr.Premnath and the students' parents when the chief guest and judge gave wonderful comments on the students' performance. And also it was a retrospective moment for the judges who pointed out that it is a worhty effort put by all to reminiscent Kalakshetra in North Chennai.

        And it was not only the students who performed the art but also who viewed had great time of experience.Apart from academics, they had fun time to when they were asked to bring out a brief note on the event. The staffs who accompanied the presentation with their musical talents were stood as leading examples for their students and ideally this event somehow bridged the gap between the students and their teachers.

        Finally the founder had few words appreciating the students,encouraging the juniors and ended his speech with a vote of thanks to the judges as well parents and other staffs for their all support.
